Job description

A rapidly-growing company that gives businesses a better way to mobilize client advocates with the modern engagement platform that combines effective tools and high-quality services is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating user-centered interactions using an effective front-end architecture framework. The company has been successfully able to rapidly boost over 50 product initiatives and power 85 new functionality pilots. The company has managed to raise close to $60 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and build web applications by turning wireframes into effective codes
  • Work through the complete software development lifecycle, from scratch to launch
  • Design user-based interactions through an impactful front-end architecture framework
  • Develop functional databases, applications, and servers
  • Code for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels
  • Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
  • Manage database administration and hosting responsibilities
  • Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability, and availability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in analyzing, designing, and developing large and complex code bases and software systems, including API design techniques, to improve the overall design and keep them clean and maintainable
  • Strong database skills (regarding integrity, design, performance, etc.)
  • Problem-solving outlook and a can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of Redux and Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and React
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and GitLab is a plus
  • Knowledge of Docker, Redis, and AWS is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
