Job description

A US-based company that is quickly establishing itself as a pioneer in remote quality assurance and progress tracking, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be tasked with upgrading and deploying software with the latest features. Users will be able to manage their projects remotely, monitor quality, limit risk, and make smarter decisions as a result of the company's technologies. The company has managed to raise more than $25mn during their Series B round of funding. This position requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on sprint tasks, write tests and program new features to assist in implementing the company’s top-tier software tools
  • Collaborate closely with the product managers and other engineers to design software solutions that deliver optimal value to the company’s users 
  • Provide architecture contributions to help scale and evolve the company’s platform
  • Work on mentoring junior and mid-level engineers in software engineering, conducting code reviews, and assisting the company in onboard new members as it grows
  • Be open to questions, learn, grow, and operate to the best of your abilities 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7-10+ years of relevant experience as a Full Stack developer
  • Proficiency in Python, AWS, MongoDB, Vue.js, web graphics performance optimization, and Docker
  • Prolific experience in software development and providing architectural insight and guidance
  • Prior experience in mentoring junior developers, performing constructive code reviews, communicating with audiences of varying tech backgrounds, and collaborating with multiple teams
  • Skills in GitLab and Go/Golang are nice to have
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
