Job description

A US-based company offering advanced content-driven financial services for the next generation of investors is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with mentoring engineering personnels, assisting them with their duties, and continuously nurturing their professional growth. By combining entertainment and fintech, the company is developing a social live stream and interactive conversation platform for traders and financial content creators that will enable anyone to attain financial freedom. The company has managed to raise $17mn+ during their Series A round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a subject-matter expert scaling high-availability, fault-tolerant, distributed systems and developing software that delights users
  • Lead the engineering team and bring exceptional products to market
  • Partner with product managers, designers, analysts and prioritize the needs of individual users
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Balance the management of development activities with other functions within the team
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on setting goals and will optimize and lead internal and external engineering teams towards achieving company milestones
  • Design a system for measuring and reporting status on software development, operations, quality, and system performance to company executives
  • Stay informed on cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices, presenting the company as an industry leader

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-8+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Demonstrable experience in team management, software architecture, and software development
  • Nice to have experience in Blockchain and Web3
  • Passion for helping your team learn continuously.
  • Solid understanding of engineering, machine learning, algorithms, and architecture
  • Demonstrable experience in all engineering disciplines, including information architecture, data processing, quality assurance, application development, analytics, machine learning, algorithms, security, and data warehousing
  • Prior experience working in large and small teams
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
