Job description

A fast-growing edtech startup leveraging the power of AI technology to help develop intelligent and interactive human holograms is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be collaborating with the existing team to improve the product quality and features. The company is leveraging advanced technologies to help enterprises train their employees to better interact with their clients. The company has managed to raise more than $2mn in funding so far. This position requires a significant overlap with the JST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Comprehend product goals and feature requests and translate them into scalable solutions
Work as a leader to migrate company’s systems into a new tech stack, if necessary
Conduct code reviews regularly to improve code quality, performance, and reliability in the product
Write unit tests to automate the systems and troubleshoot to ensure uptime for the live system

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
Extensive experience in Node.js, React, Ruby on Rails, REST/RESTful APIs, SASS, Mongo, and Go
Nice to have experience in AWS, Docker, GCP, Kubernetes, and Redis
Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Git is preferred
Fluent in verbal and written English
