Job description

A fast-emerging company determined to establish a robust organization that will help connect users to the global scientific community is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of developing efficient solutions that provide a high-quality user experience and overcome scalability issues. The company has a wide network of sources that span across 100 universities and research institutes around the world, offering clients a diverse cross-section of scientific thought. This is a nice opportunity for developers to work with a team of highly talented professionals and learn on-the-go. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new user-facing features
  • Share constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the overall performance of the team
  • Build reusable code following continuous development and integration best practices
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and application security
  • Provide suggestions for potential projects that can bring impactful results
  • Optimize video broadcasting and live chat for maximum speed and scalability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Must have extensive experience with React,  HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js
  • Demonstrable experience working with SQL, NoSQL, GraphQL, and REST
  • Prolific experience with Git and CI/CD technologies like GitHub Actions, Travis, and Jenkins
  • Nice to have some knowledge of WebRTC, RTP, and RTMP
  • Strong experience with AWS (EC2, Amplify) is desirable
  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
