Job description

A rapidly-growing company determined to help customers accelerate the journey towards financial freedom is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be contributing to the development activities related to building new and fine-tuning current solutions. The company is leveraging the power of technology and developing highly efficient financial tools available to customers, thereby enabling them to gain financial freedom. This will be a long-term position that requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the leadership role to help build the first version of the web-based financial planning application and mobile companion app
  • Switch across the stack spanning front-end, back-end, and frame end-to-end solutions 
  • Help shape architectural decisions, best practices, infrastructure, and product roadmap
  • Assist the team in building a culture of warmth, supportiveness, sound logic, and urgency for the company’s objectives
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer 
  • Extensive experience in Typescript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL
  • Nice to have experience in API Integrations
  • Proficiency with most or all required stacks (React, Typescript, Node.js, and Postgres)
  • Proven ability to deliver full-stack projects from end-to-end
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment
  • Nice to have experience working at a high-growth, early-stage startup - ideally having taken a product from 0 to 1
  • Demonstrable experience building custom spreadsheet software
  • Passionate about the fintech industry
