Job description

A fast-growing company helping businesses to implement compelling virtual and hybrid outreach activities is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for successfully completing given tasks efficiently while also writing scalable and robust code. The company helps non-profits make a long-term difference by generating funds, improving awareness, and recruiting long-term volunteers for the causes they care about. The company has managed to raise $17mn+ during their Series A round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn and gain a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem
  • Develop user-facing technology products for international customers
  • Own the product's back-end and build reusable, testable, and maintainable code
  • Evaluate, analyze and implement technical requirements when required 
  • Work closely with product management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product roadmap, visuals, and experience
  • Mentor junior members of the team and guide them through technicalities 
  • Work with a performance-oriented team and be open to experiments 
  • Learn to design software systems for high accuracy, efficiency, and scalability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer 
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience building scalable products, distributed applications products/services
  • At least 1+ years of experience working on Node.js and its frameworks
  • 1+ years of experience building microservices is required 
  • Solid understanding of NoSQL database services, such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, and related tools with the expertise to create efficient schemas
  • Excellent coding and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to produce high performant, bug-free, and testable production-grade code
  • Ability to take ownership of end-to-end deliveries, right from requirements to release
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Ability to review code and continuously push for higher engineering standards
  • Passionate about creating impact through technology
