Job description

A US-based company that wants to make outdoor play feasible for every family is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will help build the robust platform used to drive curriculums and classes. The organization's training and curriculum work on a network of thousands of teachers to lead live online and in-person outdoor, play-based kids classes everywhere. This is a long-term role where the candidate will also get complimentary access to the platform for their own or known kids.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create new products that will delight customers and improve their online and offline experiences
  • Continue to create tools to assist the network of leaders in managing and expanding the educational impact
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify, comprehend, and develop internal tooling to improve operational efficiency as they scale
  • Contribute to the instructor-led and do-it-yourself programming, getting involved in the planning stage of features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Must have experience with Ruby on Rails and React
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS is nice to have
  • Expertise in design is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a small team, with high accountability and reliability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
