Job description

A US-based company that has built a comprehensive e-learning platform specializing in medical board review services is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working with cross-functional teams and product stakeholders to deliver new user-facing features on the website. The company has been building and constantly refining its services that aim to enable businesses with the expertise and technology they need to deploy amazing online learning programs. This is a great opportunity for hands-on developers capable of taking ownership of the project.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems from end-to-end
  • Enjoy communicating with team members for solutions
  • Write clean, readable codes, perform unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and fix bugs, and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of experience working as a software developer
  • Experience with Python 3.0 in a production environment and have written REST APIs using the Django framework
  • Knowledge of JS and Angular JS in commercial development 
  • Expertise with MSSQL and the ability to unit tests 
  • Expertise in version control systems Git
  • Experience in Docker containers usage is a plus
  • Experience in Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, and RabbitMQ usage is nice to have
  • Experience working in a team with extensive usage of branching and continuous integration methods
  • Experience in writing technical documentation is a plus
  • Unix/Linux systems programming experience
