Full-Stack Developer

A NASDAQ-listed e-commerce shopping app that is making it easier for consumers across the world to gain access to a digital shopping mall of affordable goods is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be helping the existing team to scale their communications channels and build new intelligent systems for sending important messages to customers. The company caters to a wide customer base from over 160 countries with its mobile e-commerce platform, offering the biggest assortment of products delivered right to their doors. The company has managed to raise more than $1.5bn during their Series H round of funding. Job Responsibilities:

• Work on optimization experiments on the campaigns system that sends several messages every day across push, email, and other platforms
• Develop novel new campaign concepts to improve user engagement and long-term user retention
• Enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of the back-end processing systems, which at times send over 40K messages per second
• Developing scalable machine learning models based on a thorough understanding of what motivates the consumers and their actions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer
• Quick to pick things up and willing to take smart risks
• Has innovative ideas that they can back up with data-driven methodologies
• Strong understanding of the full engineering stack and how each component works together to create a high-performance solution
• AWS, MongoDB, Solr, and Golang knowledge is required
• Previous experience working with DevOps and associated tools like Docker will be beneficial
• An added advantage with experience working with marketing automation before
