Job description

A fast-growing company that is swiftly establishing itself as the industry leader in remote quality control and progress tracking, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working to improve the quality of the codebase on a regular basis. The company is developing a platform that will provide construction managers with actionable statistics, allowing them to make better decisions. They have managed to raise more than $25mn during their Series B round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring some overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Program new features, write tests, and work on sprint tasks
  • Implement best-in-class software tools to build digital solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design software to deliver optimal value to the user Contribute to architecture development to scale up and evolve existing platforms
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers to improve software engineering, conduct code reviews, and help bring on new members as the company grow
  • Deliver your best work and open to question, learn, and grow as a professional

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7-10+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Expertise in building modern languages like Python
  • Ability to build applications using cloud services like AWS
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of working with Node.js and Vue.js
  • Ability to work on Golang would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of working with database technologies like MongoDB will be helpful
  • Experience in utilizing GitLab for software development projects
  • Excellent communication skills
