Job description

A fast-growing platform that engages citizens in government events and includes user accounts, user-generated material, and a lot of database work is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will work exclusively on completely redesigning/rebuilding the platform. The platform provides services like event management, custom email marketing, CRM, display advertising, vanity URL generator, marketing report exports, system emails, and more. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the US time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Train, monitor, and analyze the performance of models
  • Lead the architecture and engineering on the new website version
  • Code reviews and mentorship of mid-level developers
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the product from design to documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer 
  • Demonstrable experience with MariaDB on AWS RDS, NestS on AWS ECS, and Next.JS React website front on AWS Amplify
  • Prolific knowledge of React hook forms, admin panel, and design system
  • Experience with Elasticsearch on AWS Open Search
  • Knowledge of Logstash on AWS Lightsail machine
  • Good time-management skills and eagerness to learn
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
