Job description

An emerging company that is using scalable, robust technologies to rapidly build a crypto service is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. The company enables their FinTech partners to offer cryptocurrency and decentralized financial (DeFi) services to their customers. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work with some cutting-edge technologies to build advanced solutions. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and develop integrations into DeFi services
  • Develop new features and experiences for our customers
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain the back-end, APIs, and third-party integrations
  • Plan, build, test, and maintain the front-end
  • Design, execute and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automatically build and test the platform
  • Work with team members to ensure high-quality code through code and design reviews
  • Prioritize paying down technical debt
  • Demonstrate professionalism by responding quickly to operational difficulties

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience with software development in a senior role
  • 5+ years of experience with software development in an intermediate role
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Django, or similar web application frameworks
  • Experience with React, Angular or similar frameworks
  • Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Expertise in software engineering design principles and patterns
  • Expertise in designing REST APIs and JSON data formats
  • Expertise designing and maintaining databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience deploying and maintaining microservices in cloud infrastructure is an asset
  • Experience with Java Spring Boot and Git
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/ CD pipelines
  • Strong experience with automated and platform testing
  • Experience developing highly scalable, reliable, and robust solutions
  • Extensive experience building secure mobile experiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
