Job description

A US-based company that is providing various types of financial services like Asset Management and Wealth Management, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be joining a high-paced and intelligent product team with considerable support and subject expertise. The company's app empowers investors to self-direct their retirement funds into stocks, Bitcoin, crypto, real estate, startups, private lending, hedge funds, and more. This role requires some overlap with the EST/CST/MT/PST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a new version of the app that takes things to the next level in terms of features and ease of use
  • Provide regular feedback and solutions
  • Collaborate with product teams and front-end engineers to deliver exceptional product features
  • Solve scalability issues by optimizing the platform for faster execution
  • Participate in building and implementing effective test strategies 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience working with Node.js, Typescript, and MongoDB
  • Extensive AWS and CI/CD experience 
  • Knowledge of automated UI testing
  • Experience with unit testing, API testing, and integration testing
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with agile development
  • Nice to have some experience with Bitbucket’s CI/CD process
  • Experience with Vue3, Quasar, and Sass is nice to have
  • Experience with building and shipping a product to market is desirable
  • Effective communication and team player skills
