Job description

A leading investment management company that focuses on finding unique private credit and special opportunities investments for institutional investors is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The candidate should be willing to resist the status quo and think outside of the box in addition to designing and implementing APIs to service business and user needs. The developer will join a strong and stable foundation of experienced professionals to protect capital and foster enduring relationships in a team that promotes an entrepreneurial, collaborative, creative, and transparent culture.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Data Science to build out the data storage layer and data transformation pipelines
  • Work with users across the business to model and onboard their data
  • Showcase and implement honesty and integrity in all activities
  • Get your hands dirty working in less favorable conditions
  • Be open and transparent in communication and feedback

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 5+ years of experience with Python (pandas)
  • Capacity to design clean APIs that enable others
  • Prior experience designing data models and implementing them (e.g., relational DBs, document stores)
  • Proficiency in leveraging a cloud-based platform (AWS, Google, Azure)
  • Track record of exploring an entire lifecycle of designs (design, productionization, maintenance, deprecation, and replacement)
