Job description

A US-based technology company focusing on providing working capital to small and medium-sized businesses efficiently and transparently is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for a broad range of development tasks to deliver reliable and scalable solutions for financial software products. The company prides itself in helping turn dreams into realities by stepping in to support clients when banks turn them down for loans. The selected candidate will work primarily on the back-end logic and functionality development, coordinating with Product Owners and Technical Architects to refine project scopes. Developers capable of thriving in an agile, fast-paced environment will be well-suited for the role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with architects, developers, and end-users to solve complex problems
  • Create new 3rd party integrations and enhancements 
  • Be a contributing member of the Salesforce and full-stack development teams
  • Contribute to some front-end work but handle mainly back-end focused tasks
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings with the development team and demo your work
  • Actively implement changes while managing and maintaining development and production environments

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript/Typescript, and Serverless
  • Strong experience with designing JSON schemas
  • Competency in AWS cloud services. Cloudwatch, Lambda, Dynamo, API Gateway, S3, SES, SQS, SNS, RDS
  • Proficiency in creating APIs from scratch and integrating with 3rd party APIs
  • Solid knowledge of database technologies (Dynamo, MySQL, SQL) and database schema design and development
  • Conversant with logs and can troubleshoot efficiently
  • Expertise in version source control (Git) and documenting code
  • Sound team-oriented abilities
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM, working with the Objects and API is pleasant to have
  • Understanding of Programming Languages (Python, PHP, Apex) is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of web technologies, such as React, CSS, HTML is a plus
