Job description

An emerging startup building relevant dev tools to make development orchestration easy is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the CTO and co-founders across all business issues and will have a voice in all decisions early at the business. The company is building the next generation of version control which works automatically in the background. Developers with prior experience working in a startup setting and eager to help build out a dream team of engineers and culture are perfect candidates for this role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ship a lot of features, gain exposure to lots of areas of business, and have a true impact on a product
  • Help establish and influence the engineering process, culture, systems, codebase, and all things relating to engineering 
  • Ship exceptional, thoughtful features and code
  • Play a vital position and have a significant influence, take the liberty to make crucial product decisions, and be self-managed
  • Grow as an IC, leader, and entrepreneur
  • Help make strategic decisions about what to build, why, and when, as well as how to approach business challenges associated with early-stage startups
  • Collaborate directly with the co-founders on what to build and how to build it, and all things relating to the business
  • Drive the engineering and product roadmaps based on customer feedback and thoughtful analysis

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience with one or more common web application frameworks like Phoenix, Rails, Django, etc.
  • Experience with at least one relational database system
  • Nice to have some experience with React and GraphQL
  • Experience with UI/UX, infrastructure, or web development is desirable
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
