Job description

A US-based child development center that offers childcare education to children of a certain age group is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will join a fast-growing team and be responsible for influencing the technical and product strategy, as well as the software architecture. The family-run company is positively impacting the lives of children by developing and implementing ground-breaking care and early childhood education programs throughout the country. This will be a full-time role that can lead to long-term opportunities.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team’s product owner to understand requirements, build solutions, and deliver functionality
  • Set standards and boost engineering best practices for development and operational excellence 
  • Work on building scalable features to solve customer problems and drive user engagement 
  • Work with a great engineering team to solve complex problems 
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable codes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with JavaScript
  • Prolific knowledge of React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, and Sequel 
  • Experience working in a high growth/scaling environment and solving problems 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English communication
