Job description

A fast-emerging startup that uses tech for good and achieves success by creating moments that bring people together in the physical world, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for working out of Basecamp with the product/project manager and lead developer. The company is led by a team of entrepreneurs, creatives, developers, and business consultants connected by a common goal to harness the power of technology and transform it into a tool that helps people rediscover and reconnect with the world around them. This job will require at least 4 hours overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable, low latency, and highly performant services
  • Propose new ideas and implement improvements to the existing stack
  • Communicate technical and non-technical requirements with respective stakeholders
  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and React
  • Solid GitHub and PostgreSQL skills is nice to have
  • Experience taking Figma comps and turning them into working code on a staging environment on Amazon Web Services
