Job description

A fast-scaling platform building a network for government prime contractors, manufacturers, resellers, and distributors to collaborate on opportunities to sell to the government, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will work actively with the founding team and customers to deeply understand the market and the friction points of users to continuously build empathy for the problem. The platform is growing rapidly with early customers including HP, Cisco, and VMware. It has sold over $2.5B to the federal government through the vast expertise of the founders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build, and maintain the platform with a focus on quality
  • Work with the founding team and be responsible for large, unstructured projects
  • Designing and building the social network user experience for partner networks (chat, profiles, invites, etc.)
  • Brainstorm and innovate the most efficient and effective way to parse any inbound opportunity (RFQ, RFP, etc.) into the search index 
  • Ingest all federal spending data and provide an analytics platform to slice and dice the data 
  • Work with high priorities on customers, extensibility, scalability 
  • Translate broad specs into well designed and implemented product

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Ability to showcase seniority and expertise on projects and repos to ship great products
  • Strong grasp of both Ruby and JavaScript
  • Experience with Google Cloud, React, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Redis is an advantage
  • Sound competency to understand customer friction and design solutions with a high degree of autonomy
