Job description

An early-stage company specializing in creating, managing, and improving content workflows for video streaming services is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will join the team as a critical member and help shape the team’s direction. The company provides a full range of services to the streaming industry and partners with major film studios, content creators, and streaming services to ensure the highest quality content. Candidates capable of performing in a fast-paced, progressive, and challenging environment are suitable for this role. It requires a time zone overlap with the Philippine Standard time.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Design, implement, and test components
  • Conduct unit tests, integration tests, regression tests
  • Perform code review and ensure high code quality
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely deliverables and guide the team on strategic implementation
  • Interact with stakeholders to intensify requirements for applications
  • Participate in project meetings with management and other team members

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience building and deploying scalable, high traffic production applications
  • Ability to write clean and easy to understand code
  • History of working successfully with remote teams
  • Experience with working in an agile environment
  • Proficiency with Git and Git Flow
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful, microservice interfaces on the back-end
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience using design patterns, AWS, RDS, CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, EC2, and Lambda 
  • Advanced knowledge in JavaScript and Typescript
  • Sound knowledge of ReactJS with experience implementing SPAs, SSGs, and SSRs
  • In-depth expertise in C#, .NET Framework, Database integration, and CSS
  • Conversant with multi-threading and performing asynchronous operations
  • Demonstrable skills working with frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, Materialize, etc.
  • Previous experience using infrastructure as code (serverless framework, CDK, Terraform, etc.) to deploy architectures in CI/CD pipelines
  • Nice to have some experience in CDK, Kubernetes, and NextJS
