Job description

A fast-growing company that is building and improving the marketplace for building materials by connecting contractors and suppliers is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will join the team and iterate on the entire software stack to ship exciting new features, troubleshoot, and fix bugs as they arise. The company offers a contractor-focused platform for ordering materials, scheduling pickups, delivery, and tracking all within the application. It has raised $2mn of Seed funding led by prominent and Angel investors. This is a full-time role that requires an overlap with PST.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product & design stakeholders and relate with customers to collectively define the product
  • Help in executing the product requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with designers and product managers, to build unique products
  • Be open to receiving and giving critical feedback 
  • Brainstorm around a whiteboard to come up with innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment 
  • Proficient in writing back-end software using Go and PostgreSQL
  • Conversant with front-end software using React, Redux, and Typescript
  • General familiarity with construction and building materials
  • Enjoy talking to customers and learning about their needs
