Full-Stack Developer

An eminent company combining the elite practices in machine learning, trading, and programming to provide customers access to quantitative trading and investment strategies, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with investigating latencies and jitter from test and production data and fixing identified issues. The company has established itself as one of the largest traders in the derivatives market across asset classes. This is a rare opportunity for developers to embark on an adventurous journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate low latency software for electronic trading in financial markets that are highly competitive
• Write quality code using the best algorithms and data structures
• Optimize code for specific execution environments using the knowledge gained from x86 processor architecture 
• Co-design and develop algorithms with traders and FPGA developers
• Implement application-level network protocols and develop a deep understanding of the nuances in each of them 
• Design experiments to find the root causes in issues without interfering with the production environments
• Improve the big data infrastructure for market simulations and post-trade analysis
• Enhance the capacities of the statistical learning and market-simulation logic 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
• 2+ years of experience in C++ coding 
• Prolific understanding and expertise with C/C++ 
• Sound knowledge of operating systems and networking fundamentals 
• Curious about diving into system-level programming
• Conversant with multi-threaded programming concepts
