Job description

 A US-based start-up that is building a market network for government contracting and procurement, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working with a team of highly skilled and talented professionals. As a developer, you’ll be responsible for designing and building the social network/user experience for the company’s partner network. The company is building a network for governments’ prime contractors, manufacturers, resellers, and distributors to collaborate and sell to the government. This is a full-time and long-term opportunity for those who want to work with a fast-scaling startup.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build the social network user experience for the partner network (chat, profiles, invites, etc.)
  • Find the most efficient and effective way to parse inbound opportunities (RFQ, RFP, etc.)
  • Ingest all federal spending data and provide an analytics platform to slice and dice the data
  • Work with the founding team and customers to deeply understand the market
  • Design, build and maintain the company’s platform 
  • Translate broad specs into well designed and implemented product

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full stack developer
  • Proficient knowledge of Ruby and JavaScript
  • Experience with Google Cloud, React, and PostgreSQL 
  • Knowledge of ElasticSearch and Redis would be a plus
  • Ability to understand customer friction and design solutions with a high degree of autonomy
