Job description

As a developer, you will help shape the various components necessary to build modern software solutions. Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect scalable and reliable software solutions
  • Enforce quality through test-driven development
  • Ensure maintainability by documenting code and solution
  • Mentor colleagues and share knowledge as required
  • Translate business requirements into a powerful, implementable, and secure technical solution
  • Work with a high level of autonomy, take ownership, and showcase the ability to decide and act for the company’s interest 
  • Be open to accepting feedback and implementing new solutions
  • Design and build software products with emerging technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Core competency in both back-end (Node.js, MongoDB, SQL, AMQP) and front-end (ES6, HTML5, CSS3) development
  • Understanding of standard software engineering practices (Git, unit testing, code documentation, continuous integration, dependency management, monitoring, version management, etc.)
  • An instinct for software architecture and Microservices
  • Knowledge of Docker is a plus
  • Prior knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTTP/2, WS) and API development (JSON, OAuth, JWT)
  • Good understanding of database design concepts
  • Passion for experimenting and exploring new technologies/frameworks
  • Ability to handle the pressure and flexibility of an evolving startup
  • Fluent in English
