Job description

A leading live e-learning platform that provides tailored training to students and professionals to help them achieve any academic goal, is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the platform and contributing to building a highly scalable and automated system. The platform provides students access to hand-picked professors and professionals, allowing them to gain highly personalized, effective, and delightfully easy teaching. During their Series C round, the company managed to raise more than $100mn in funding. This role requires some overlap with the BST time zone. This is a nice opportunity to join a fast-growing platform and contribute to building scalable ed-tech solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Build robust and scalable applications
Contribute to team efforts, review code, and provide feedback
Provide development support for existing systems/products and build innovative new ones
Troubleshoot data and other system issues
Design and develop high-quality reusable code

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
Extensive experience working with Ruby on Rails, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, and AWS
Strong understanding and knowledge of RDS, Redis, and NGINX
Great problem-solving and analytical attitude
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
