Full-Stack Developer

An e-learning platform connecting brilliant young minds with a pool of talented, inspiring teachers and coaches is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with building, maintaining, and enhancing the platform's overall performance by adding new features and scaling existing ones. The platform harnesses the power of technology to build a teaching resource that brings school science standards to life through fun and educational videos. The company has managed to secure funding worth more than $1.5 mn so far. This will be a full-time position that requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build highly performant applications and integrate them with server-side logic and functionalities
• Ensure stability and performance of the application
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other engineering leaders
• Build scalable, low latency, and highly performant services
• Maintain and execute end-to-end web architecture

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
• Prolific experience working with WordPress, Laravel, and PHP
• Familiarity with Trello board is nice to have
• Ability to multitask and operate without being micromanaged
• Fluent in spoken and written English
