Job description

An early-stage startup that has developed a technology connecting hospitals, researchers, academics, and regulators to empower and improve patients' quality of care, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will utilize solid expertise in the required technologies and technical project management to guide development teams and help them overcome challenges. The company focuses on creating a clear picture from disintegrated real-world data through advanced technology and analytics to guide decisions and actions. This job offers a great opportunity for the selected candidate to grow rapidly with the potential of attaining the level of a chief technology officer within a short span.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the full-stack development and tutor other team members
  • Enforce security best practices around coding and security control
  • Comfortable handling complex tasks in parallel tracks
  • Guide the development teams, learn quickly to make up for knowledge gaps, and solve problems independently
  • Utilize a high level of creativity in designing solutions
  • Be a leader and offer advice to senior management on all technical aspects and research topics

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, Java, Ruby, Shell Scripting, and Windows scripting
  • Core competency on the client-side - AngularJS 1.X, Angular, React, RxJS, ImmutableJS, jQuery, NPM, YARN, Bootstrap, Progressive Web Application, RESTful APIs, Apache Cordova, HTML5, Python, etc.
  • Demonstrable skills in Microservices: Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Expertise on the server-side, including NodeJS, Nginx, and OAuth2
  • An understanding of Google Services: Map, firebase, and push notification
  • Sound database knowledge, e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
  • Familiarity with Amazon AWS Services: S3, EC2, Border Services, CloudFront, Cognito
  • Skilled at Continuous Integration: AWS, GCP, NGINX, IIS, Docker, Jenkins
  • Solid testing skills with NUnit, JUnit, Selenium, and RunScope
  • Experience in version control and Project Management: Git, Gitlab, SVN, Agile, ServiceNow
  • Experienced in code review and pen testing
  • Some business acumen is beneficial
  • Ability to grow into leading a team and manage stress efficiently
  • Possess both breadth and depth in technological know-how
  • Be calm, composed, and withstand pressures from many fronts
