Job description

A fast-expanding company developing a new, digital, modern, and simple way for people to purchase real estate is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for shipping top-quality code, features, and products. The platform offers data-driven insights and personalized recommendations by merging customers' personal finances with real estate data to provide them with easy, tangible information. This will be a full-time role that requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST/EST time zones.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand product and customer priorities, and balance those against operational and technical needs
  • Curate and execute end-to-end web architecture
  • Fix bugs and solve coding problems from end-to-end
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application
  • Practice code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests in a continuous integration environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience working as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific knowledge and experience working with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Heroku
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work without micromanagement and in a team environment
