Job description

A rapidly-growing online food delivery services app is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and discussing the architecture of the applications. The US-based company enables restaurants to grow their brands and compete for new clients against the large giants and food franchises. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy tackling multifaceted challenges and working in an agile environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the full-stack performance of the platform by utilizing a solid knowledge of basic and advanced JavaScript on client-facing applications and portals
  • Integrate the platform with 3rd party APIs 
  • Design and develop applications and services using React with Next.js, Typescript, and JavaScript
  • Write Unit, Functional, and Load Tests for back-ends and front-ends, using Jest, React testing library
  • Condense complex requirements into specific and measurable test objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience working with PaaS environments like AWS and Heroku
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency with Node.js and JavaScript frameworks such as React, NextJS, or other PWA library
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and OpenAPI 3 (Swagger)
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Nice to have some experience with Point Of Sale (POS) integrations
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Agile practices is desirable
  • Experience with Unit, Functional, and Load Testing is nice to have
  • Nice to have an interest and experience in the restaurant e-commerce space
