Job description

A US-based company that gives users access to a premium network of banking, financial, and IT risk specialists is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for working on all areas of the platform, from the infrastructure to the back-end and front-end. The company provides specialized talents that are customized to meet each firm's needs in an accessible, seamless, and cost-effective manner. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the internal and external users to identify pain points and opportunities
  • Develop solutions and perform code implementations
  • Develop features using Typescript, Node, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and React
  • Build architecture documents for new features and iterate based on team feedback 
  • Mentor and guide other team members
  • Propose great business ideas, share with the team, and execute on it

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 3+ years of experience working on production web applications (Node and a modern SPA framework)
  • Familiarity working with Typescript, Node, and React
  • Extensive knowledge of GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch
  • Prolific working experience with Heroku, AWS, Terraform, and DataDog
  • Demonstrable experience working with Metabase, Jest, and Cypress
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript and related technologies
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
