Job description

An early-stage startup simplifying order procurement and focusing on helping contractors get the right material to the job site at the right time is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for building out the product and should be capable of moving quickly while working on large features. The company has developed a software that enables easy requests for multiple quotes, placing orders, and managing deliveries to eradicate the chaos of the current material supply chain. This will be a nice opportunity for developers to join a fast-emerging company led by industry veterans and contribute to building innovative products.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with major stakeholders using technical expertise, risk, and objectives
  • Help uphold and maintain the phases of the software development life cycle 
  • Diagnose and resolve issues identified across multiple aspects of the tech system
  • Collaborate with fellow functional teams, developers, and testers in an agile development environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Proficiency in React with Mobx for state management
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq (jobs), and Algolia (search)
  • Demonstrable experience with Render (hosting of Dockerized services)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with teams and provide technical expertise across the stack
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
