Job description

A rapidly-growing company providing businesses with technology to build better civil life and democracy is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will become a core member of the engineering team and will be helping to scale up the sales and marketing efforts. The company's technology helps customers and government employees to easily access and use civic data. The ground-breaking software has gained the potential to become the nation’s most popular tool for citizens to find election results and understand money in politics and used by government agencies to revolutionize how they serve public requests. This will be a full-time, long-term role that requires some overlap with the EST/PST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate and contribute to early client revenue projects
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code 
  • Develop highly efficient user interface components 
  • Develop robust, scalable, and secure features
  • Analyze website performance and drive improvements 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-stack Developer
  • Prolific understanding of React, Angular, and Vue 
  • Some understanding of PHP is nice to have
  • Great leadership and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
