Job description

A US-based online pharmacy is looking for a Full-stack developer. The developer will be tasked with building high-quality solutions for future products. The firm provides easy, convenient, quick, and affordable delivery of specialty medications while offering customers co-pay coupons, manufacturer discounts, and other financial programs that help them to secure the lowest possible price. The company has managed to raise over $100mn in funding so far. This role requires an overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide microservices approach using TypeScript as well as Kotlin
  • Tackle complex technical problems while working on tight deadlines
  • Work on improving scalability, availability, and latency on the platform
  • Build back-end services and features as well as APIs that power the applications
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and work within a microservices architecture

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific skills with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
  • Prior working experience of AWS (Kinesis, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB)
  • Experience in PostgreSQL deployed to Aurora for relational databases
  • Extensive SQL experience is nice to have
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
