Job description

A rapidly-growing company providing SaaS-related services to mid-size and enterprise-level businesses is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working with a cross-functional, Agile Scrum team to design and deliver forward-thinking integrated apps for enterprise-level platforms. The company provides progressive companies around the world with critical products that incorporate highly interactive and modern digital interfaces. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the CET time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bring innovative ideas to the table 
  • Collaborate with the development team and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code that enhances the user experience
  • Participate in trainings and continuous development to remain knowledgeable and current on best practices
  • Solve complex engineering problems that contribute to solutions and enhancements for customers
  • Work collaboratively with the team and directly with customers
  • Work on both the back-end and front-end development of the platform
  • Work on a small Agile team as a core member of the company
  • Work independently on tasks and receive input from other engineers where required
  • Collaborate with other engineers and non-engineer staff members/vendors to evaluate and identify solutions to complex problems
  • Engage in peer reviews of pull requests and offer constructive feedback to improve the code quality 
  • Mentor and guide other engineers in the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience building full-stack applications using JavaScript technologies
  • At least 3 years of experience developing front-end web user interfaces with React (Typescript required)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience developing RESTful back-end microservices using Node.js 
  • Extensive experience working with Node.js, TypeScript, React, MySQL, and AWS
  • Prolific experience with HTML and CSS 
  • Prior Next.js, MobX, and Redux experience is preferred
  • Experience with SASS/SCSS is a plus
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack, NPM, and Gulp/Grunt
  • Experience implementing automated testing frameworks such as Cypress.io, Jest, and Mocha
  • Experience ensuring your code builds and deploys properly through continuous integration and deployment processes 
  • Expert skills in modern design patterns and building enterprise-grade production applications
  • Experience writing SQL for relational databases
  • Experience with internationalization
  • Experience as a technical member of a high performing Scrum team
  • Experience interfacing with customers and managing projects against a deadline
  • Good understanding of UI/UX fundamentals
  • Ability to work with and coordinate with other engineers via Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration tools
