Full-Stack Developer

A US-based company pioneering a new type of lending services in a broad and untapped area is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be working with the latest technologies in Fintech, such as Plaid and Stripe, to design and develop critical pieces of infrastructure and oversee them as the company scales. The well-funded, seed-stage startup is bringing cutting-edge technology to an industry that is in dire need of a revamp, delivering value to all parties involved - borrowers, lenders, and partners - all while establishing a strong long-term business. The company has managed to raise $3.9 mn+ in funding so far. This will be a full-time role and requires some overlap with the EST/PST time zones. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a scalable, robust, and high-performing platform
• Help establish the engineering culture, processes, and technical direction
• Offer essential input to other areas like the product, growth, and operations
• Work across the product, from implementing user interactions to building background jobs
• Build, scale, and optimize the product from scratch

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of relevant experience as an engineer shipping products
• Demonstrable skills with SQL, React, Node, and Typescript 
• Experience in data-modeling 
• Expertise in working with the AWS stack, including security, deployment, and automation
