Job description

A US-based FinTech company bridging the gap between technology and banking through large-scale collaborations is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with the design, development, and testing of industry-leading solutions for the company’s local and international clients. The company has developed a marketplace for Fintechs to offer tech solutions that Banks and Credit Unions can directly offer to their account holders. They have raised over $1.5 mn in funding so far. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who enjoy working hands-on in an agile environment with several business units.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help drive the company’s solution-based business model and take their designs to the next level
  • Design, develop, and test industry-leading solutions
  • Build scalable solutions that will make technology work for businesses and individuals
  • Develop a deep understanding of products, customers, goals, organization, and business strategies
  • Evaluate systems, processes, and identify improvement needs
  • Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and company standards 
  • Develop and implement processes that improve manufacturing production and deliver quality outputs  
  • Secure and manage engineering service providers, inspectors, and other technical resources that may come in handy to develop the project
  • Meet quality standards while maintaining a working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices
  • Manage the execution and timely completion of engineering projects 
  • Analyze the scope and determine project specifications, establish testing methods for product investigations, test programs, examine samples, and prepare reports
  • Formulate plans with detailed calculations, drawings, diagrams, project specifications, and budget estimates
  • Read and interpret precast reinforcement drawings, civil grading plans, and other structural drawings
  • Maintain the system functionality through unit testing and outlining solutions to pass to QA for complete testing
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency, productivity and provide maintenance and support for existing solutions
  • Monitor industry trends and implement appropriate methods to keep production moving while meeting financial goals and providing cost savings
  • Utilize software programming for the preparation of technical specifications, user documentation, presentations, progress, and results tracking
  • Build professional skills through continued training, education, and networking events

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience with C#
  • Experience with Azure SQL database management and security is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies 
  • Solid understanding of web application architecture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to work and coordinate with remote team members for solution delivery 
  • Familiarity with the Payment Card Industry compliance (PCI) is a plus
  • Experience with Jira is nice to have
  • Knowledge of Azure services like API Management, Functions, App Services, and serverless solutions is desirable
