Job description

A leading US-based API development collaboration platform that strategically streamlines the API lifecycle is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will own and operate the front-end mono-repo development, among other tasks. The platform makes it easier for teams and organizations to collaborate, allowing developers to create application programming interfaces and increase productivity. The company has managed to raise close to $450 mn in funding during their Series D round. This is a great chance for developers to contribute their expertise in developing an elegant, flexible tool that promotes collaboration and speeds up development.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the development and deployment of workflows, the library toolchain, and any supporting infrastructures such as CI/CD systems
  • Build great user experiences and interfaces quickly and reliably
  • Ensure that the development processes, services, and tools are fast and reliable
  • Leverage internal libraries and open source technologies to collaborate with engineering peers and create a world-class developer experience
  • Implement and maintain features, enhance engineering efficiency and quality, and close the development loop
  • Be a proponent and ambassador for the company's technical support
  • Break down difficult requirements into manageable tasks to be accomplished

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience working as a Full-stack Developer
  • 2+ years of experience building web front-end tooling and infrastructures
  • Experience owning and improving development workflows
  • Proficiency with libraries in the modern web build toolchain such as Webpack, ESbuild, Babel, Mocha, etc.
  • solid track record of operating and improving developer experience in large code repositories (e.g., mono-repos)
  • Nice to have some experience in authoring useful front-end open-source libraries
  • Prior working knowledge of operating CI/CD systems and workflows at scale for hundreds of developers is desirable
  • Prior experience in building development tooling for multiple platforms - such as web, desktop, mobile is nice to have
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
