Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company that has established itself as an industry leader in the data protection and privacy space is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the Head of Security to develop efficient solutions for multi-faceted and complex issues. The company's data privacy technology uses a simple API to provide governance, security, and compliance. The company has secured fundings worth $22 mn+ during their Series A round. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to experience rapid career growth while expanding their skillsets.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take up new challenges and work closely with the Head of Customer Security, take direction, take up new platforms, problems, and proffer solutions
  • Own internal projects and experiment with tasks to derive better results
  • Work actively on a variety of projects
  • Work on the core platform to develop and execute multiple open source projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-stack Developer
  • Extensive experience working with JavaScript, Node.js, and related frameworks
  • Must have prior experience owning projects from end-to-end
  • Ability to learn new systems and tech stacks to write different kinds of code
  • The ability to read Go along with server-side MPN packages is nice to have
  • Experiences with databases, database modeling, and organizing different databases
  • Prior open source experience
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
