Job description

A rapidly growing tech company engaged in designing and developing a dedicated platform for effective remote work collaboration is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The engineer will be tasked with building features for a collaborative desktop for teams. The platform is designed for remote collaboration and aims to create a system that perpetuates a productive, organized, and spontaneous work environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a firm backed by prominent investors like Sequoia, Spark, and XYZ Capital, among others. It is a long-term, full-time opportunity and requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain features end-to-end, from pixels, through APIs to the back-end systems
  • Develop a technical vision for the company’s products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed company goals
  • Work on developing and optimizing user-facing features for customers using the company’s products
  • Optimize and build components for collaborative desktops

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer 
  • Some knowledge of back-end and front-end technologies
  • Solid understanding of React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Node.js
  • Prior experience working with MongoDB and WebRTC is nice to have
  • Ability to own projects from inception to completion
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members across the organization
