Job description

A US-based company that is steadily transforming the corporate solar procurement business, is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The developer will be in charge of enhancing the current platform, evolving it through software architecture redesigns and adding new modules from scratch. The company has managed to develop an all-in-one cloud software platform that makes solar project management, installation sales, design, financing, and asset management extremely easy and efficient. The company has managed to raise $4.5mn in funding so far. This role requires 6+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on designing software modules to enhance customer experience by improving performance, scalability, and security features
  • Contribute to developing back-end and front-end functionality of platforms
  • Troubleshoot, fix, and enhance features to improve efficiency
  • Work alongside other development experts and PMs to improve the product’s usability
  • Identify and resolve performance-related problems
  • Stay true to best coding practices and work on approach documents and code reviews 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Should have 5+ years experience as a software developer
  • Must be well-versed with JavaScript, Angular (2+), CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Professional knowledge of MongoDB is preferred
  • Experienced in web development projects would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of browser testing and debugging tasks
  • Familiarity with API integrations is preferable
  • Open to working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English
