Job description

A US-based SaaS platform developer that is revolutionizing the predictive food and beverage industry with its cutting-edge AI technology, is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The developer will be tasked with building a data interface (both front-end and back-end) and an interactive dashboard system for clients. The company has managed to raise $4.1mn in funding so far and aims to become the leading expert in helping businesses predict and personalize flavors for new food products by tapping into the potential of Artificial Intelligence. The company prides itself on its accuracy to model sensory perception to predict market trends, product performance and consumer preferences.

Job Responsibilities:

Understand client requirements, collaborate with necessary teams and convert requirements to application features
Develop and design innovative and responsive front-end applications using UX templates
Build performant database schemas and functions that are capable of supporting data collection platforms and maintaining existing databases
Write high-quality code and perform unit testing procedures
Perform regression testing for optimizing performance and deploy bug-free features
Develop reusable code and technical documents for rolling out new features

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in full-stack development
Should possess knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, View)
Professional experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
Experience in extending schema with migrations, writing triggers, and fine-tuning performance is a must
Must possess a high level of efficiency in the React ecosystem of tools, including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
Well-versed with responsive app development with Expo and React Native
Should be able to undertake tasks like performance testing frameworks including Enzyme and Jest
The ability to work with Data Visualization using D3 and similar libraries is a plus
Knowledge of AWS for cloud resources will be beneficial
Must be updated with the latest developments of security principles and authorization systems (JSON web tokens)
Should be familiar with using GIT and familiarity with code versioning tools
Knowledge of Datalog-based databases: Datascript, Datomic, and Asami is preferred
Knowledge of continuous integration tools and automated deployments is a bonus
Must be fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills
