Job description

A US-based community driven lifestyle brand pledged to help and empower conscious consumers, is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ideation, development, and execution of the mobile apps. The company utilizes content, community and social commerce to drive innovation and ignite change. The platform connects over 1.2 mn eco-conscious consumers to take action through ethical lifestyle content and features thousands of sustainable products from ethical brands. The well-established brand has also raised over $1.2 mn in funding so far. This is a long-term role and requires some time overlap with PST.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop entire mobile applications using modern API-driven apps
Independently develop and implement a mobile app for iOS and Android platforms including features like, but not limited to, SPA, news feed + comment architecture
Perform Shopify integration on developed apps
Develop audio/video/photo and text communication built from scratch or using third-party platforms like SendBird
Optimize in-app notifications and social platform like structures
Communicate and collaborate with different teams on a regular basis

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in full-stack development
Should possess a portfolio of code or apps for review
Must be a critical thinker and provide effective and efficient solutions
Must have proven experience in leading development or project teams
Extremely sound interpersonal and collaboration skills
Should have detailed professional knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS
Well-versed in technologies like JSON, SQL, Swift/Objective C, React Native
A strong grasp over object-oriented design patterns, mobile security/performance, SaaS, REST solutions
Must be well acquainted with cloud architecture
In-depth understanding of agile methodologies
