Job description

A fast-growing bootstrapped company creating a digital product that allows users to tell family stories using pictures is looking for a Full-stack Developer. As a member of the core engineering team, your role is to contribute to the development of new features as well as maintain the databases. With the help of this platform, a thumb drive filled with scanned images of any size is quickly transformed into neat albums sorted by the familiar faces. This is a good opportunity for those who want to create a lasting impact in building new products and features at scale.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with the CTO over multiple tasks
Becoming an expert in the AWS, serverless set-up
Contribute to the development of new features within the back-end
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the databases

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of significant experience as a full-stack developer
Proficient with various technologies, including React, Java, Python, etc.
Experience with cloud infrastructure
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
Knowledge of databases such as NeoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
Familiarity with AWS, serverless, Lambda, Spring Boot Java, and Scala
