Job description
A growing e-commerce platform for food distributors is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The engineer will join the team in making a transformative impact on the food supply chain industry. The company is building digital tools that power foodservice wholesalers with a team of experienced individuals from Uber Eats, Google, WeWork, etc. This is a great chance for the selected candidate to join an early-stage start-up and contribute to shaping the work at a fundamental level.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write amazing code at the ground floor of a quickly growing startup
- Make decisions on the evolution of the technical architecture
- Create the standard for good code and help to mentor other new hires
- Work closely with product, design, and ops teams to quickly expand the product offering
- Get to know the restaurants and suppliers first hand and contribute to shaping the direction of the company
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience building high quality, scalable software
- Proficiency with web development and frameworks like React, React Native, or Next.js
- Experience with mobile app development is a plus
- Experience with one or more languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- Ability to break down and solve complex business requirements, adapt and learn quickly

Back-End Developer

The developer will be in charge of building, constructing, growing, and managing production services, as well as knowing how to put together a service-oriented architecture. The company is creating a platform for cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges that will let users buy, sell, and store different types of cryptocurrencies. The company has managed to secure more than $675mn+ in funding. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and execution of complex system software architecture, making sure it is scalable, performant, and maintainable
- Engage in active hands-on coding, using your technical know-how to mentor and advise development teams
- Work together with stakeholders to comprehend technical and business needs so that architectural designs and strategies can be created
- Define the elements, interfaces, and interactions of the system while utilizing the proper frameworks, technologies, and patterns
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
- 3+ years of experience working with Golang
- 1+ years of experience with MongoDB or DynamoDB
- Solid understanding of working with AWS
- Nice to have Ruby/Ruby on Rails experience
- Solid experience with Single Sign On (SSO) projects is desirable
- Prior experience fintech, security, payments, etc. is preferred
