Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating cutting-edge, real-time audio immersive experiences is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be tasked with building containerized applications and offering advice on their implementation. The company is developing technologies that alter how attendees at live events consume and pass on audio. The company has managed to secure more than $37.5mn during their Series B round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Take charge of updating the existing Ember.js app and aim to convert it to React and stick with React going forward
  • Take the initial project's basic form and move its components from being hosted locally on servers to the cloud
  • Create and implement mechanisms that will hasten the organization's transition to self-serve administration
  • Develop and oversee our in-house technologies to aid in simplifying and scaling the environments for development and production
  • Internal architectures should be documented and diagrammed as the team works to improve the serviceability of our new product line
  • Assess and build reliable APIs for both new and current services
  • Make sure features are represented at all levels by working cross-stack (front-end, back-end services, databases)
  • On certain of the team's initiatives, provide technical solutions and lead the technical solution process


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Extensive experience working with React, Python, and JavaScript
  • Demonstrable experience working with AWS like S3, EC2, and ECR
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles of networking (transport layer, application layer, routing)
  • Strong Docker base with experience in Kubernetes
  • Adept at using RESTful APIs in web apps with ease
  • Proven engineering knowledge as opposed to only knowing a language or framework, since the company values adaptability
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
