Job description

A fast-growing private company that is currently working extensively in the government sector is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be working with the Lead Developer, QA Tester, Marketing Strategist, company President, and Sales team to work toward the organization’s common goals. The company is currently operating in stealth mode while developing their product. This will be a part-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help with iterations, user testing feedback, bug fixes, etc. 
  • Work on the Search using Elasticsearch
  • Take charge of the event management and back-end Admin
  • Monitor and manage the Auto-email system including the Email marketing system and Single sign-on
  • Work on the Database integration between two sister websites
  • Showcase a solid understanding of the Advertising module
  • Work with the lead developer and QA tester to finish the website's remaining components
  • Track bugs using Trello and fix bugs
  • Offer suggestions and criticism
  • Participate in a weekly meeting between the development team and the leadership

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript
  • Extensive experience working with React, Next.js, and MariaDB
  • Some understanding of Nest.js, Node.js, and MySQL
  • Familiarity with Elastic Search is desirable
  • Prior experience working with MariaDB on AWS RDS
  • Some understanding of Nest.js on AWS ECS
  • Extensive experience with Next.js React website front on AWS Amplify
  • In-depth knowledge of React hook forms and Ant Design system
  • Prolific understanding of Regular React admin panel
  • Solid understanding of Elasticsearch on AWS OpenSearch
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Logstash on AWS Lightsail machine
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
