Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating a payments app and offer-based advertising platform that automatically pays customers for making purchases, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be tasked with designing the technological infrastructure to support both short-term and long-term growth. The company is creating an integrated commerce ecosystem for the workplace that links employers, workers, and merchants and offers automatic cash-back for reimbursement of employee spending for things like food, fitness, family care, learning, and development, as well as other wellness-related purchases. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who are passionate about building FinTech apps that have a massive impact on the customer experience. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a small highly experienced team of business and technical professionals
  • Demonstrate and put into practice software engineering best practices for deploying, testing, and writing code with the assistance of your team members.
  • To guarantee we continue to ship swiftly without compromising production stability, promote and enforce the proper behaviors
  • Take on manual labor-intensive projects that are the most pressing, challenging, or important

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience working with MySQL, Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, and Ionic
  • Strong understanding of modern software stacks
  • Familiarity with Stripe, Dwolla, and Plaid financial services is nice to have
  • Prior DevOps experience with AWS and Google Cloud is desirable
  • Ability to quickly integrate a vast code base, develop new features and services, and maintain existing services
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, OpenAPI, etc.
  • Ability to work independently without being micromanaged
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
