Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing a cutting-edge carbon platform to assist customers in purchasing, managing, and retiring carbon offsets on a large scale, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for creating and implementing back-end systems that are reliable, scalable, and secure. The platform provides a customizable carbon emissions calculator and the option of enrolling for monthly offsetting with approved international environmental projects. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who are eager to work with a team of industry veterans and build world-class solutions. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create responsive online applications and keep them updated utilizing current web technologies
  • Gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications by working with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Follow coding standards and best practices while producing effective, clean, and reusable code
  • To ensure optimal performance, thoroughly test and debug apps, and find and fix any defects or problems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience working with React.js, JavaScript, and Next.js
  • Demonstrable working experience with JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Docker
  • Familiarity with Passport including user management (user logging in/out, etc.)
  • Nice to have some understanding of Tailwind CSS, S3, TypeScript, Sequelize, and Elastic Beanstock
  • Excellent conversation and written English communication skills
