Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing an online marketplace for bare apparel and apparel decoration service is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be in charge of building smart and scalable design decisions while resolving performance bottlenecks through speedy troubleshooting. The company's innovative technology makes the process of designing the appropriate screen print or embroidery patterns painless and smooth. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance software architecture for increased speed and efficiency
  • Work on both the front-end and back-end while communicating daily with the team via Slack and Kanboard
  • Lay the groundwork for the development processes, as well as the technology and architectural roadmap
  • While working together with the tech and product teams, drive execution across all platforms while juggling immediate needs with long-term goals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 5+ years of experience working with PHP
  • Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, and Twig
  • Extensive experience with Custom Drupal Module development and Object-oriented programming
  • Prior experience working with API development
  • Solid understanding of Version control and Kanboard workflow
  • Familiarity with Docker Containers and basic e-commerce knowledge 
  • Knowledge and understanding of AWS, Drupal 6, Multiple API services, and MariaDB
  • Extensive experience working with NG!NX, PHP-FPM, GitHub Deployment, and MongoDB/EDI
  • Prolific experience working with CRUD via PHP/Drupal with MySQL
  • Some experience working with LEMP Administration is desirable
  • Nice to have demonstrable ES6+ skills e.g. Sass, webpack, etc.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Laravel, Slim, and React.js is nice to have
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
